Woolacotts were engaged to provide detail design to core facilities and replace existing demountable classrooms with permanent facilities in line with the Department’s Education Facilities Standards and Guidelines and to facilitate 21st Century and Future Focused learning objectives
Our Role
Dapto Public School, located in the Horsley area of West Dapto, has received a facility upgrade to support future enrolment growth in the local area.
Woolacotts were pleased to provide Civil, Structural and Hydraulic Engineering services on this project in partnership with Pedavoli Architects and Patterson Building Group.
Upgrades
This upgrade offers flexibility where teachers will be able to provide more opportunities for student engagement and personalised learning experiences allowing students to learn at their own level and pace.
Additionally, the school now has increased accessibility to new technology in a variety of settings and classrooms with the capacity to accommodate small or large groups.
Throughout the delivery of this project, the Woolacotts team ensured that all Civil, Structural and Hydraulic engineering designs were intelligently adapted to site, community and environmental requirements.
