Award Winning Warrumbungle National Park Visitors Centre

Woolacotts are pleased to announce their involvement in the award-winning Warrumbungle National Park Visitors Centre. On the 3rd of July 2020 TKD Architects took out both the Architecture Award in the Sustainability Category and a Commendation for Public Buildings in the NSW chapter of this year’s Australian Institute of Architecture Awards. The awards were judged and announced virtually, with juries reviewing 194 entries and shortlisting 106 projects across 13 categories.

Stage 1 Complete at Curl Curl North Public School

Woolacotts have been engaged by project architect Tanner Kibble Denton Architects to provide structural, civil, hydraulic and wet fire engineering services for the $30m redevelopment of the existing site at Curl Curl North Public School. This school upgrade will provide teachers and students with state of the art learning spaces, improved playground and sports facilities, and a new administration building.

Parklea Correctional Centre

Woolacotts were engaged to provide structural, civil and hydraulic engineering design, documentation and construction phase services to the existing Parklea Correctional Centre facility.

New Facility Upgrades at Schofields Public School

Schofields Public School, located in Sydney’s north west, has received a much needed facility upgrade to accommodate a growing student population in the area. The school has grown from a small timber building of two classrooms in 1923, to a large facility featuring a multiplicity of learning and administration spaces that can accommodate 650 students in 2020.

State-of-the-art Design at The Governors Centre

Woolacotts Consulting Engineers were engaged by Tanner Kibble Denton Architects to provide Structural, Civil and Hydraulic engineering services on the development of The Governors Centre, a new state-of-the-art education facility located on the grounds of Sydney Boys High School in Sydney’s east.

Department of Community and Justice Services – Fire, Life and Safety

Department of Communities and Justice Services engaged Woolacotts as lead consultants involved in addressing over 300 non‐compliant elements addressing Fire, Life and Safety across 20 Courthouses, 5 Correctional Centres and 2 Juvenile Justice Centres in Sydney Metro East and Sydney Metro West.

Bradley’s Head Road Boardwalk Project

The new Bradley’s Head Road Boardwalk in Mosman has officially opened after first commencing design in late 2019, in collaboration with Design Team Lead Spackman Mossop and Michaels. It is part of a scenic thoroughfare for riders and walkers, located adjacent Taronga Zoo.
