Role

Structural Civil Engineer

We have undertaken the design of numerous laneway and streetscape projects for various Councils and other authorities.  Projects undertaken include:

Crown and Baptist St Public Domain Improvement Works, Foley St Stage 1 laneway revitalization, Paddington Five Ways, Jack Mundey P1,  Earl Place laneway upgrade, Avenue Road Mosman streetscape improvement works, Eagar Lane upgrade, Singleton Main St revitalization, Market Row laneway revitalization, Hosking Place and Penfold Lane revitalization, Lees Court streetscape, King Street Rockdale streetscape improvement, Foley St Stages 2 and 3 , Dee Why Town Centre streetscape and footpath, Bondi Junction streetscape and cycleway design, Singleton streetscape upgrade works, Mosman Military Road streetscape upgrade, Watsons Bay Military Road streetscape sit investigation and modelling of stormwater flow and quality, Sydney CBD streetscapes.

All projects involve upgrades to the streetscape, to create dynamic spaces that attract people to the area. The works included upgrades to pavements, removal or relocation of existing kerbs, the creation of shared zones and modifications to stormwater drainage.

As part of our works, we were responsible for determining new pavement levels, which provided access into adjacent buildings, met disabled access requirements and maintained stormwater drainage paths without inundation into adjacent buildings.

In most instances this required detailed analysis and close liaison with the landscape architect to ensure the works met all these requirements.
