Sydney Central Station is the hub of the city and intrastate rail network. Originally opened in 1906, it has been in continual use ever since. The station and its associated yards have historical significance at a state level. We have completed many projects at Central Station, including rectification and alterations to heritage elements of the station precinct, including:

  • Stonework repairs to the Station Building facades and access bridges over Eddy Avenue
  • Major repairs to the roof canopies of the electric rail platforms (16 to 24)
  • Repairs to timber roof canopies at the country rail platforms
  • Rectification and repairs of the western concourse
  • Alterations and repairs to the Pitt St / Eddy Avenue buildings under the concourse
