Still calling Brisbane home…

Senior Structural Engineer Anthony Chen has arrived back home in Brisbane after delivering regional and remote projects throughout Western Australia.

Anthony Chen, Woolacotts Consulting Engineers“I loved that my time in Western Australia was more than mining related” say Anthony Chen. “The Fiona Stanley Hospital and Karratha Airport are great examples of the community infrastructure projects that happened from the mining activity.”

Anthony has significant experience throughout South East Queensland and gives Woolacotts much more depth of local knowledge. Anthony’s project experience throughout Queensland aligns with the sectors that Woolacotts already provide structural, civil and hydraulic engineering services to. Specific examples include:

The Inner Northern Busway project for QTMR is very similar to the dedicated bus and cycleway projects being delivered for NSW authorities.

Brisbane Magistrate Court aligns perfectly with the large scale justice and emergency projects that Woolacotts have delivered for more than 50 years.

Other projects delivered by Anthony include new schools, a new central energy plant for QEII Jubilee Hospital and several mid-high rise buildings along the Brisbane River.

It’s great to be settled back in Brisbane and following up with old colleagues. We are getting ready to grow again with the local Queensland economy

Right now Anthony is delivering correctional projects and with prisoner overcrowding throughout Queensland we are expecting his local structural and civil engineering experience to be in very high demand.
