Planning approved for Rainbow Street Public School

NSW Government has been injecting significant funds into capital work projects for the education sector. The Rainbow Street Public School is one of the larger upgrade projects and received a boost when planning consent was approved by Randwick City Council in April 2017. The school population is planned to double in size to 1000 students.

Woolacotts is supporting Tanner Kibble Denton Architects by providing the structural and civil components of this project.

NSW Department of Education outlined that “new classrooms will be based on future focused learning models with collaborative and flexible learning spaces. There is also a strong emphasis on creating outdoor learning environments to provide students with a diverse range of teaching spaces, making the new school a fun and exciting place to be”.
