apto Public School, located in the Horsley area of West Dapto, has received a state-of-the-art facility upgrade to support future enrolment growth in the local area. Woolacotts were pleased to provide Civil, Structural and Hydraulic Engineering services on this project in partnership with Pedavoli Architects and Patterson Building Group.
The Dapto Public School upgrade included:
- 20 innovative learning spaces
- practical activity spaces
- an extension to the existing library and administration facilities including a new staffroom with more office space and a dedicated teacher digital area
- minor refurbishments to the canteen

This upgrade offers flexibility where teachers will be able to provide more opportunities for student engagement and personalised learning experiences allowing students to learn at their own level and pace. Additionally, the school now has increased accessibility to new technology in a variety of settings and classrooms with the capacity to accommodate small or large groups.

Throughout the delivery of this project, the Woolacotts team ensured that all Civil, Structural and Hydraulic engineering designs were intelligently adapted to site, community and environmental requirements.
