Parramatta Police Station

Woolacotts Consulting Engineers were working with NBRS+P and Group GSA to deliver the $20 million Parramatta Police Station redevelopment. Structural and Civil Engineering challenges associated with the building are the proximity of the building to the adjacent Court House, separation of functions and services from the Court House and Flood Proofing of the basement access.

Adjacent to the courthouse, the police station forms part of a justice precinct. The station will be located over two / three levels, with basement parking and storage. It includes holding cells, interview rooms, storage areas (including secure evidence stores), court processing areas, conference rooms, fitness centre, locker rooms and numerous working spaces and office areas for the various divisions located in the building.
