Chatswood Community Health Centre is a single storey facility located on Sydney's north shore.
The centre is part of Royal North Shore Hospital Community Health and provides community allied health services.
The building contains consultancy rooms and general meeting and public education seminar areas. A new car park and driveway were also constructed to serve the building.
Our role
Woolacotts Consulting Engineers completed the structural, civil and hydraulic engineering design for the project.
Project challenges
Site access and construction was constrained by existing neighbouring buildings, community infrastructure, and mature vegetation.
Woolacotts’ civil and structural design successfully avoided these tight constraints without the need for perimeter shoring works– eliminating risk, and saving time and money.
Woolacotts also completed QA inspections and reporting during construction, ensuring a first class outcome.
